Who is Midori?

Midori is a Pokemon OC I created as the protagonist of my replay of the whole series. Her story is simple

Midori exists alongside the protagonist of the Kanto games (called Akai) and the rival (called Ao) (and yes, these are all color pun names).

The three are friends and rivals who take on the Kanto region together and then race to see who can collect all of the gym badges in the country (basically, the Japan-based regions of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh).

The only rule is that they can only use pokemon caught in that region. (I'm also not doing the Johto post-game, since that's just going back to Kanto)

How does this work?

This site is a fictionalized version of my playthrough, wherein I replay every pokemon game released thus far in roughly the order one might reasonable be expected to travel while visiting every region.

That is:

• Kanto: Leaf Green
• Johto: Heart Gold
• Hoenn: Emerald
• Back up north to Sinnoh: Brilliant Diamond
• Kalos: X (continental Asia is conspicuously nonexistant in pokemon thus far)
• Paldea: Scarlet
• Galar: Sword
• Unova: Black (Midori has left by Black 2, so that won't be included)
• Hisu: obviously, PLA (I'll explain when we get there)
• Alola: Ultra Moon (non-New York continental US is also nonexistant. Actually, so is Africa and South America, too. Hmm.)
• I also like to think that after Alola and on her way back to Kanto, she winds up in Pasio, but that's probably irrelavant. Probably.

Midori will be the POV character for every story here, but she isn't always the protagonist from the games. It depends on the plot, tbh.
